ISTANBUL - Turkey's economic growth stood at 2.9 in 2014, lower than the government's target and slightly higher than market expectations, according to the data released by Turkstat on Tuesday. Turkish government cut its 2014 growth target to 3.3 percent in the middle term programme, from 3.0 percent previously, while the market's expectations were around 2.5 to 2.7 percent.
