İsmail Akkaya - Mehmet Kayhan Yıldız / Konya, July 16 (DHA) - In central Anatolian province of Konya, twenty-nine year old rubber M.E.E., wearing a hygienic mask, attempted to rob a bank.

The rubber threatened people at the bank claiming, “I am wearing a bomb. If you do not give me the money, I will blow it up.”

Thus far giving a classical scenario of a rubbing attempt, the rubber was actually wearing two packs of margarine foiled and attached to a cable, illustrating a real bomb.

Having broken all the clichés of a bank robbery, M.E.E was restrained by the bank’s security guard Gökhan Erdin and he was turned over to the police.

One of the tradesmen around the bank, Hayati Kaya have witnessed this extraordinary bank rubbery and said, “I was standing in front of the bank. When I noticed the situation inside, I entered the bank. Meanwhile the security officer was trying to hinder the rubber who was saying that he was wearing a bomb and holding a gun. With the help of other employees, we managed to stop him.”
