Şırnak, July 29 (DHA) - An explosion damaged the Kirkuk - Yumurtalık oil pipeline in the Silopi district of southeastern Şırnak province, at 03.00 a.m. on July 29.
Gendarmerie teams have intervened and blocked the oil flaw passing through the pipeline.
The oil, having kept leaking for around one hour, has dispersed to the cornfields and caused damage on the area of some acres.
Security forces have launched an operation in the region.
